Can I export my website, app and data, or take them with me if a client leaves?

Yes. Your data is yours. Votel does not claim any rights to it, including contacts you import, and we believe strongly in data portability. You are not locked in, and if a client leaves they can take their website, app and contacts with them.

Websites and funnel sites: open the website in the website builder and click the Files tab. You have full access to all of the site's files. Click Download all and host them anywhere you want.

Apps built with the AI assistant: open the AI assistant, go to the app's settings and download the source code and the database. These are real apps, for example Next.js, React or Vue, that do not depend on Votel, so you can run them anywhere or keep them as a backup.

Contacts and other data: export them at any time.

There is no database interface for web apps inside the platform. If you need an app's database credentials, ask the AI assistant to get them for you.

If the client wants to stay on Votel's hosting with their own domain, open Domain on the website, add the domain and follow the DNS instructions shown.
