Applies to: Agencies that want to support their own customers; branding applies on the white label plan
Can I offer my own branded live support to my customers and put a support widget on my website?
Yes. Votel provides support to you as the customer, not to your own customers. Instead, you get the same support platform Votel uses for its own support, under the Support menu (the Support button at the bottom of the menu). Votel's Live Support rings Votel. This one is yours, so you can talk to your own customers in real time.
What it includes:
- A support widget you can embed on any website, including a custom app whose users never log in to Votel. Your customers can also reach you from inside the app.
- AI agents to handle first-level support, or your team users as support people.
- A list of active users and of which team members are online, so you can ring them or they can ring you.
- A call queue that rings you, your team or your VA. The call arrives as an incoming call in your browser that you click to answer.
- Live support calls on the built-in meeting platform with video, screen share and remote control, so your support person can move the customer's mouse and click.
- A built-in ticket system, reviews of support calls and stats.
You choose how calls are routed. For in-app support you can have it ring the AI first. For phone calls, the AI can take over when you are not available or after hours, try to ring you first, or book a meeting.
On the white label plan everything carries your branding, including the help docs, the AI support and the meeting platform, so your customers see your brand rather than Votel.
Live support usage is billed a la carte like meetings, with separate costs for the call and the call summary.
