Can my team members earn from the referral program, and how do I pay my salespeople a commission?

Team users, added under Settings, Team users, are people you invite into your account, such as a VA, a customer service person, a salesperson or a web designer. They have access to your account, contacts and sites, and each can have a role with permissions turned on or off. Team users are not part of the Votel referral program.

Votel referral commissions are credited to the account that owns the referral link, whether you or a team member shares it. If you want to give part of your commission to an employee, that is up to you and is arranged outside Votel.

To pay your own salespeople or partners a commission on what they sell for you, set up your own affiliate program under Click Tracking, then Affiliates: create a campaign, create an affiliate, and edit the affiliate to give them a percentage or a fixed dollar amount, one time or recurring. Each affiliate gets their own link on the campaign.

Sub-accounts are different from team users: a sub-account is its own separate, isolated account with no access to your data.
