Can the AI assistant redesign my existing website?

Yes. Paste the address (URL) of the current site into the AI assistant and tell it how you want the new design to look. Starting with the URL helps, because the AI can visit the site, understand what the business does, extract the text and look for image assets, so it has to make up less.

A good redesign prompt says:

  1. Create a new website project, and use this link to understand what the business does.
  2. What to keep. For example, keep only the logo from the old site and redo everything else, or keep the same text, logo and images but make it modern, clean and high converting. If you start from scratch, say the old site is only for understanding the feel and the kinds of solutions.
  3. The outcome you provide (for example more leads, appointments and sales), who you serve and your area. The hero section focuses on the outcome, and the sections below explain how you deliver it (for example 24/7 answering, appointment booking and follow up).
  4. The main call to action, for example Get a Quote.
  5. The style, for example clean and modern, a regional theme, orange buttons on a light blue background, entrance animations, a shimmer effect on the button, hover movement and plenty of images.

The AI rebuilds the site and designs new images with AI, often with a night and day difference from the old site. It works in the background and takes a few minutes. A typical website uses about 6 to 14 AI assistant credits, and some are cheaper. You can then make small edits by asking the AI (for example make the logo larger) or edit the result yourself in the website builder.

The process is the same for a client's website or for the landing page of your own lead magnet. If you only want to copy a site unchanged, use Import from URL instead of a redesign.
