Do I get white label help docs for my clients, and how do I put them on my own domain?
Yes. The white label help center is included with the white label (Founders) plan at no additional cost, so you do not need to write your own help docs or buy them elsewhere. It is the same documentation portal we give our own customers, shown on your domain with your logo and company name. It includes the documentation, the full API guide (more than 2,000 APIs), the video tutorials and the change log.
The videos are unbranded, so they work under your brand. They are generic training on the different sections, for example how to set up your white label and how to use the workflow builder. They are deep linked: if you are on a specific node in the workflow builder, the link takes you to the part of the video about that node. For training on a specific use case, such as car dealership salespeople, you may want to record your own quick Loom video.
To put the help center on your domain:
- In Settings, SaaS Configurator, connect your white label domain on the Custom Domain tab and leave the Help center switch on (it is on by default).
- Its DNS record is called help center and typically uses docs.yourdomain.com. Copy that record into your DNS along with the others.
- Set your logo and company name on the Branding tab so the help center shows your brand.
To open it, click your icon in the top corner, click Help and Support, then Visit our help center. Your clients reach the same help portal from inside your white label app.
The AI assistant can read the help docs, the roadmap and the change log, so you can ask it how to do something or what is new and it answers from them.
If your help docs show a "connection is not private" or not secure warning, the domain may still be validating. In the SaaS Configurator, go to Custom domain and check that the help center entry is green. If it is not green, something in the domain setup is wrong. If you need help, click the Live support button and choose Talk to a person.
