Do I pay for the usage my clients generate, and how do I mark it up?

Yes. Whatever your clients use, we charge you our cost. Mark everything up so the client pays you more than you pay us, and you keep the difference.

The easiest way is the 2x button on your plan's service and usage pricing in Settings, SaaS Configurator. It charges your clients twice what we charge, so you earn a margin on all usage. For example, if AI costs you 25 cents a credit, your client pays you 50 cents, we charge you 25 cents, and you keep the difference. You can also use another multiplier, or go into each service and set your own price, even for services we do not charge for.

With a markup in place you are glad when clients use the platform instead of worried about the cost. Rebilling with markup is part of the Founders Plan ($297 a month).
