Do I pay the same when the AI only transcribes a forwarded call as for a full AI phone call?

No. Each call has separate cost pieces, shown on the pricing calculator: speech to text, the AI voice engine and the telephone cost. If the AI is not talking, you do not pay for the AI voice engine. If you forward the call somewhere else and the AI only transcribes it, you pay just the speech to text and the telephone cost.
