Does Votel provide leads, and how can I pull lead lists such as local businesses from Google Maps?
Votel does not sell leads and has no built-in prospecting tool. Instead, connect an outside lead tool to the AI assistant through MCP and ask for what you want in plain words. The AI pulls the data and can create the results as contacts in your account. Your Votel contacts, inbox and tasks then act as your lead manager, so you do not need a separate lead app.
Tools customers use:
Apify has over 27,000 scrapers (called actors), each priced by use, for Google Maps, Google search, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Reddit and more. For example, one Google Maps scraper was priced at $1.50 per 1,000 places. Turn on the actors you want inside Apify first.
SerpAPI gives Google search and Google Maps results. It has a free tier of about 250 searches a month and paid plans.
Phantom Buster does similar work for Facebook and Instagram profiles and group members.

To set it up:
- Create an account with the lead tool.
- In the AI assistant, go to Assistant settings, then Connectors, click Connect, paste the tool's MCP server URL or connection details, and log in.
- Ask the assistant, for example: "Get me 1,000 HVAC businesses in Austin, Texas from Google Maps, keep the ones with few reviews or a rating under 4.7, crawl their websites to see if they have a chat widget or a blog, and create the ones without one as leads in my CRM."
You can chain tools, for example run an SEO audit on each website (scored 0 to 100) and only create contacts for sites scoring 20 or below. Run it once, or set it up as a scheduled task in the assistant that runs daily, weekly or monthly. Workers and scheduled tasks can use MCP connectors, and you can paste instructions you already use.
If your Claude is already connected to Apify, you can instead connect Claude to Votel through the Votel MCP server and have Claude get the leads, run your checks and create the contacts in Votel.
Votel recommends these ways to find clients: intent data, data providers, cold email, and paid ads for immediate results. Prospecting and getting clients are covered on day four of the 5 Day Challenge.
