How are AI images, videos and audio priced?
AI image, video and audio generation, in the Library AI generation tabs (such as AI Image Gen and AI Video) or when you ask the AI assistant to create media, uses AI media credits. These are separate from AI assistant credits, even when the assistant makes the media. An AI media credit is also worth $0.25. It is pay per use from your wallet: you cannot buy AI media credits separately, you just keep money in your wallet and each generation is deducted.
The cost depends on the model and options. Each model in the Library AI generation tabs shows an approximate price before you generate. For example, a Nano Banana (Google) image is about 7.5 cents (0.3 credits) and an OpenAI image model image is about 24 cents. If you do not say which model to use, the AI assistant picks the most economical one, Nano Banana. You can ask it to use another model, such as OpenAI or Ideogram, at a different price. Resolution and quality also change the price.
Video has the widest price range and is billed by the second of video. Longer duration and higher resolution cost more, and the estimate updates as you change duration, aspect ratio and quality. Video models include Kling, HeyGen and Seedance, among others. For example, with the HeyGen video agent a 30 second video costs $1.80 and a 45 second video costs $2.70, and HeyGen videos go up to 60 seconds. Tell the AI assistant which video model to use, since different models suit different jobs. Audio is much cheaper than video.
Everything is already integrated, so you do not need another site for images or video. You also do not have to use our tools: if you already pay for a video service such as HeyGen, you can keep using it, and Votel adds no extra cost for calling it. If your own subscription gives you more video for the money than per video pricing, compare the two.
