How do I add a privacy policy page to my website?
No privacy policy page is created automatically. The easiest way is to tell the AI assistant to build one, for example: make a privacy policy page with standard good practices, state that we do not buy, sell or share personal information including mobile phone numbers, match the theme, header and footer of the other pages, and add the privacy policy link to the footer of every page. You can link it from the footer, the header or both, like the link at the bottom of votel.ai.
To make it yourself without the AI:
- Go to Websites and open the website.
- Click New page, type privacy policy (or privacy) and click Create.
- Edit the page.
Parts you reuse on many pages, such as a footer, can be saved as a global block. If a saved global block does not show, refresh. Global block styling may not copy over, so you may prefer telling the AI to copy the header and footer for you.
