How do I apply a snapshot to a sub-account, including one from the snapshot library?
Build your snapshots in your agency (master) account, because you pass them down to sub-accounts from there. There are two ways to deliver a snapshot.
Manual: open the snapshot under Library, then Snapshots, click the three dots and choose Apply to sub-account, then pick the sub-account. Create the sub-account first if you need one, for example a demo account.
Automatic: in the SaaS Configurator, set the snapshot on a SaaS plan (for example an HVAC plan), and every sub-account on that plan gets the snapshot automatically.
A snapshot you installed from our snapshot library cannot be applied directly. Make it your own snapshot first:
- Go to Library, then Snapshots, and install the library snapshot (Get this template). It then shows as Installed.
- Click Create a new snapshot and give it a name, for example your niche. A cover image and description are optional.
- When it asks for snapshot items, select the agent or agents from the installed snapshot that you want, then create the snapshot.
- On your new snapshot, click the three dots, choose Apply to sub-account and pick the sub-account.
There is no limit on how many sub-accounts you can apply a snapshot to. You can also copy a link to share a snapshot.
To see what a sub-account has, open its Billing tab. It shows the applied snapshots, the items in them, the version the sub-account is on and whether it is up to date, and you can update it from there.
Do the applying yourself, because the AI assistant may not be able to do this step.
