Applies to: Agencies using the SaaS Configurator
How do I create a snapshot and have new customers get it automatically when they buy a plan or add-on?
- Build your agents, workflows, forms and other items in your agency (master) account, and set up your global variables. Name your agents clearly so you know which to include.
- Go to Library, then Snapshots, and click Create snapshot. Give it a clear name, for example the niche and the problem it solves.
- Select every item that solves that problem for that niche, such as the agent, the global variables and any form, and create the snapshot.
- Go to the SaaS Configurator, open your plan or add-on and open the Sub-account defaults tab.
- Pick the snapshot (you can link one or more) and save.
Everyone who gets that plan or add-on then has the snapshot created in their account automatically. You do not need to do anything else.
Because the snapshot items use global variables, ideally nothing in them needs to change. The only manual step is to go into the client's account and set the values of the global variables, such as their company name and phone number.
Plan or add-on: each customer can have only one plan but can have several add-ons. If the snapshot is part of the base service everyone gets, put it on the plan. If it is an optional extra, such as database reactivation, put it on an add-on.
Create one snapshot for each problem you solve in your niche, for example reputation management, database reactivation and a 24/7 AI receptionist, so you can offer several services to the same client.
