How do I log in to a client's sub-account and switch back to my own agency account?

There are several ways to open a client's sub-account:

  1. Go to Settings, then Sub-accounts, and click the Login button (the blue login icon at the far right of the account's row). This page is also where you can send the client a reset password email.
  2. Click your logo at the top left to open a search panel of your sub-accounts. Type the owner's name and click the result to log in, or click the small icon next to the name to open the contact that owns that sub-account.
  3. Go to Contacts and search for the owner by name, phone number or email. A sub-account owner has a small user icon next to their name. Open the record and the Billing tab on the right. It shows their plan, when they created their account, what they bought, their transactions and their cards, and from there you can log in as them, reset their password, lock or delete the account, edit their balance, or click the pencil icon to manage their individual services. This is often the handiest way when a client asks for help, because their communication, notes, custom fields and transcripts are on the same screen.

Log in as can open the client's account in a new browser tab on a secondary, neutral domain (for Votel accounts, app.nocotel.com). Because it is a different domain, you can stay logged in to your own account at the same time and work in both. If you are showing a client or demo account to someone, keep your own account in a different browser window so they do not see your data.

A new sub-account with no funds shows a warning to add funds.

To return to your own account, use the account switcher at the top of the screen (the small circle that follows you on every page) and go up a level to the account above, which is your agency account. The switcher lists only recent accounts, so if you have many sub-accounts, find the others through the logo search or Contacts.
