How do I put a video meeting link in my booking invites?
When you create or edit a bookable, find the meeting location setting (Location). The default is Video Call, one time link, which uses Votel's built-in meeting platform. It automatically generates a unique link for each booking, creates the meeting room when someone books, and includes the link in the invite and reminders.
If you have a fixed meeting room (for example /meet/yourname), you can select one of your meeting rooms from the drop-down instead. If you use Zoom or another tool, put that link there.
Because the meeting runs on the platform, you can see whether someone showed or did not show, and an activity is added to the contact with the transcript and the recording (if you record). That transcript feeds the contact's AI summary, so when you open the contact you see all activity with that person.
Built-in meetings are usage based, about nine tenths of a cent a minute for the meeting room. Recording and transcription cost extra. See the current rates under Settings, Billing, Usage.
