How do I send feedback or request a new feature?

Use the Give feedback button in the left side menu, just below the Live Support button. You can also find it under Settings, then Roadmap.

  1. Click Give feedback.
  2. Choose Feature request, or Private feedback for anything else you want to share, such as a bug.
  3. Describe your idea or issue and send it.

Private feedback goes straight into our team's queue, skipping support, so it is the fastest way to report a bug, a problem or an idea. Add as much detail as you can, including screenshots or a video, so the engineers can see what you mean. No feedback is too small.

Feature request is a public request that goes onto the roadmap, where other customers can see it and vote on it. You can also go to Settings, then Roadmap, to post a feature request, see what others have asked for and see what is coming. Write out exactly what you want added. If you are asking for an integration, include the provider's API documentation and anything else the team needs so it can be queued. The Votel product team reviews requests, and the team builds quickly, so requests usually do not stay on the roadmap for long. Votel is product led and many of our best ideas come from customers, so your feedback directly shapes what we build.

A feature request or private feedback is not a support ticket. For help with a problem, click Live Support and choose Talk to a person. Our support team handles technical items such as DNS setup, and our development team handles feature requests and bugs.

To see what has shipped, open the Change log, which lists new features, improvements and fixes. Some days have 10 to 20 releases.

If you do not see the Give feedback button, it may be hidden in the white label settings: under Branding there is an option to hide it, so turn it back on there.
