How do I set up an AI worker to work my contacts or sales pipeline for me?
An AI worker works your contacts from your instructions, one contact at a time, the way a salesperson would. This is also how you set up an AI BDR.
- Open the AI assistant and go to Workers. Create a worker or edit an existing one.
- Give it instructions written as a standard operating procedure (SOP), the way you would brief a human salesperson, including your script. Put in everything you would want a salesperson to do.
- Tell it which contacts to work using filters, for example everybody in your sales pipeline.
- Set its working hours, for example Monday to Friday, nine to five.
The worker then goes to work. It reads each contact and its history and can do everything in the CRM that you can do: make a call, add a note after the call, create a follow-up task for when it should reach out again, add a tag, move the contact to a different pipeline column and book meetings on your calendar. You can watch it work and see which contacts it worked on.
The worker's AI work uses AI assistant credits, and the calls, texts and emails it sends are billed at their normal usage prices.
