How do I set up my white label agency in Votel?

White label comes with the Founders Plan ($297 a month or $2,970 a year). Your agency account is the account you work from, and it has extra abilities: the SaaS Configurator, the white label settings and creating sub-accounts. You do not need to create a sub-account for yourself the way you do in GoHighLevel.

Go to Settings, then SaaS Configurator. You need three things to start:

1. Branding: add your logo, company name, website, email and phone number. If you do not have a phone number, buy one in the phone section. You can also let sub-accounts customize the branding themselves.
2. Custom domain: enter a subdomain such as app.yourdomain.com. This is where your clients log in, and the system emails (welcome, forgot password) are sent from it. Votel then gives you instructions to connect your DNS. If you need help connecting the domain, use the Live Support button.
3. SaaS plans: create at least one plan with a name, a price and what is included. A plan defines what a sub-account can and cannot do, and can include trials and setup fees.

Create your SaaS plan before you create any sub-account. Unlike GoHighLevel, the plan itself decides which services a sub-account can use. Connect Stripe (or your payment provider) to bill clients. Until Stripe is connected you can save a plan as a draft. Then create a sub-account for each client.

When someone buys a SaaS plan, through the sign-up form the SaaS Configurator creates or through a payment form on your own website, their account is created automatically and they get a welcome email with a link to activate the account and pick a password. The new account gets whatever you attached to the plan, such as snapshots (website, pipelines, funnels, dashboards and more) and a custom sidebar.

Each client gets their own login and an account that looks like yours, except they cannot see the SaaS Configurator or the sub-accounts. Your sub-accounts do not need their own website or domain. Only your agency needs the white label domain.

Connecting your domain also gives you the white label help center: all of Votel's documentation, the API guide, the change log and unbranded videos, served on your domain with your logo and brand. You also get a white labeled meeting platform (your own Zoom replacement) and your own branded app that can be installed (click your profile, then Install app) on Windows, Mac, Android and iOS. The app is a PWA, not a native app.

We recommend two pieces: your own front end website for your agency, and the back end app on a subdomain such as app.yourdomain.com.
