How do I stop spam calls on a new phone number?

A new number may have belonged to someone who did heavy marketing before, so unwanted calls can be the luck of the draw. If you are just starting out, you can pick a different number.

For individual spammers, use the block button so they cannot call again.

To stop calls entirely, disconnect the phone number from its destination by clicking the small x next to the destination. The call then rings with no answer, and an unanswered call costs you nothing.
