How does billing work when I resell Votel to my clients?
We bill you, and you bill your clients. Votel never bills or contacts your customers.
We charge your account wallet our rate for each service your sub-accounts use. You charge your clients your own rate, which you set in your SaaS plan. For example, if an AI credit costs you $0.25 and you charge $0.50, you keep the difference. The 2x button on a SaaS plan sets every service to twice our price so you have that margin on everything, and you can add your own margin to AI usage like any other service.
Your clients pay you through your own Stripe account, connected under Settings, then Integrations. When a client orders one of your SaaS plans, the subscription is paid to you. When a client uses more than the plan includes and the service is set to Bill for overage, their card on file is charged at your marked-up price. The card can auto recharge, for example charge $5 whenever the balance drops below $5.
For a sub-account you do not want to bill, such as your own demo account or a client whose usage you cover, choose Free of charge when you create it and keep "This sub-account is for me" checked. Billing is then off for that sub-account and its usage bubbles up and is charged to your agency account.
