How long has Votel been around, and who is behind it?

Our company has been around since about 2018. The Votel platform launched publicly in December 2025, after a long private beta in which it was battle tested with large customers, and it has been growing quickly since.

Votel is 100 percent bootstrapped. It was built from the ground up by our own team and developers, with no outside investors or board pushing to squeeze agencies for more money, and it is run by its founder, Mike Brown. It is not a one-person company: there is a development team, a support team, an onboarding team, account executives and many other people, and the team keeps growing, so the platform does not depend on any one person.

Our goal is to serve agencies. We hand customers to agencies rather than take them, and we do not compete with agencies for their customers.

We do not disclose the exact number of customers, but thousands sign up every month.
