How much do AI assistant credits cost, and how many credits does a website, agent or app use?

Everything the AI assistant does uses AI credits, and one credit costs $0.25 (25 cents). That includes building websites, landing pages, AI agents, workflows, email sequences and custom apps, and also simply chatting with it, saying hello or asking it for help or support inside the platform. It is the same assistant everywhere (the main AI assistant page, the orb that follows you on other pages, and support questions), so there is no separate free mode. The built-in app builder, for custom apps with their own database, is charged at the same 25 cents a credit.

How many credits a task uses depends on what you build, how much detail you give and how long and hard the AI works on it. We cannot tell you the exact number before a run starts, and it varies from run to run even with the same prompt. There is no monthly or daily usage limit: you pay for the credits you use. Pricing is usage based rather than a flat monthly AI subscription, because most of the building happens up front, so you use more credits at the start, when you build the most.

Examples from real builds:

A typical website or one page landing page uses about 3 to 10 credits. In a very good case, a one page site built from one prompt used 1.2 credits (about 30 cents), and the same prompt run again used 6.9 credits. Credit use per build has been falling as the platform improves.

An AI receptionist agent for a dental office, with a full conversation workflow that books, cancels, reschedules, answers questions and takes messages, used 10.7 credits and took about two minutes.

A database reactivation campaign (a seven day SMS and email workflow with agents) used 13 credits.

A custom business directory app with its own back end, database, login and admin section, built from one prompt, used 20.9 credits (about $5) and worked for about 35 minutes. A CRM with several workflows, views and lead forms used about 30 credits.

Small edits typically use a credit or less. Very large builds, such as a 300 page website or a 365 day follow-up sequence, use many more credits because they have many more steps. Sending a message will not produce a surprise bill of hundreds of dollars, but you can build big things that use many credits.

Copying or importing an existing site with the import tool is not AI work, so it has no AI credit cost.

You do not buy a separate bucket of AI credits. Credits come out of the funds in your account: you add funds, and the same balance pays for AI credits, phone calls, AI calling and other usage. As a reference, 300 credits equals $75. Plans that include AI assistant credits, such as the Founders Plan with $297 of AI assistant credit every month, cover assistant use up to that amount.
