How much does the AI assistant cost, and why do I pay for credits on top of my plan?

Your plan (the $97 Professional plan or the $297 Founders plan) and the AI assistant are billed separately. The plan gives you the platform. The AI assistant, which builds apps, websites, automations and agents and customizes your CRM for you, is usage based: when it works for you it uses AI assistant credits, because the AI provider charges us for that work. Credits cost $0.25 each. If your balance runs out, the assistant stops working until you add funds.

What a task costs depends on what you ask. As an example, one AI-built dental website used 7.5 credits. As a guide, 200 credits is enough for roughly ten websites or landing pages, and possibly around twenty simple pages.

Other AI features have their own costs: AI media credits for image generation, and separate costs for AI video. Image and video costs vary with the model, resolution and size you pick, and the cost is shown to you (for example when you hover) before you generate. In one example an image cost 7.5 cents.

To make credits last, put everything you want into your first message to the assistant instead of asking for one change at a time, and make small edits yourself in the drag and drop builder.

You do not need credits to build things yourself. The drag and drop builders work without credits. For simple things, such as an automation that sends an email, waits fifteen minutes, sends a text, waits one day and sends another email, dragging in the steps yourself is often as fast as asking the AI.

To see your usage, go to Settings, then Billing, then Usage. For line by line detail, open Activity, then Balance activity.
