How much does the AI assistant cost to use, and how do I see the credits a task used?

The AI assistant uses AI credits, at $0.25 a credit. You use credits when the AI builds or changes something for you. Building or editing something yourself by hand, for example creating an agent manually or editing an email step in a sequence, has no AI cost. Everything the AI creates can be opened and edited by hand.

The cost depends on the task. A bigger build costs more and quick edits cost less, and every back and forth with the AI (each turn) uses more credits. The same prompt run twice can give different versions at different costs. As an example, simple websites cost roughly 30 cents to $1.50 in credits each, and redesigning a one page website cost 3.2 credits. Building a full app and going back and forth many times can use far more. We keep working to lower the credit cost of websites, so typical costs have dropped over time.

Accounts include enough credits to build things like a landing page for your agency. On the Founders Plan, the $297 of AI assistant credit included every month goes a long way for websites.

Once something is built, the ongoing cost is only usage, for example AI agent conversations.

To see what a task cost:

  1. When the AI finishes, click the small info icon below its response to see how many credits it used. While it works, the expander on the right shows what it is doing step by step.
  2. The orb that follows you around the app is also the AI assistant, and every message there shows the credits used.
  3. To see what used your credits over time, go to Activity, then Balance activity, and group by service.
