Applies to: Agencies setting up plans for sub-accounts

How should I include usage costs like calls and texts in the plans I sell to my clients?

Votel recommends not getting stuck on pricing details at the start. Focus on getting your first client first.

The more premium your price point, the less you should think about charging for the little things. If a client pays you thousands per month, do not charge extra for something like a phone number.

What a client uses depends on the niche and volume. Per-minute and per-message rates are known, so you can calculate it. A small client may use pennies per month, and AI text messages cost a fraction of a penny ($0.001 per message). High-volume businesses, such as solar companies working hundreds of thousands of leads, are different and worth calculating carefully.

When you set up a sub-account plan, you can click the 2x button for easy pricing instead of deciding service by service, and customize later. A number in brackets, such as AI agent (17), means there are 17 services in that group you can customize. You can also add limits, for example a thousand contacts.
