Applies to: Agencies coming from GoHighLevel
I am coming from GoHighLevel. How is Votel different, and can I migrate my account?
There is a lot of overlap with GoHighLevel, and Votel also has things GoHighLevel does not, such as its own meeting platform, inbound faxing, white label help docs and dark mode. It is easier to use and built for AI from the start, with one AI assistant that can do everything. Agencies that moved say it comes down to client retention: a platform simple enough for clients to use keeps them longer.
Differences to know:
- In GoHighLevel you create a sub-account for yourself. In Votel your agency account is the one you work out of, and it holds your own contacts, websites and agents.
- Workflows live inside AI agents and control phone calls, conversations and outbound sequences.
- You must create a SaaS plan before you can create a sub-account.
- The Founders Plan includes rebilling with markup, SaaS mode and automated client sign up.
To move, use our GoHighLevel migration tool, a browser extension that pulls the data out of your GoHighLevel account and imports it into Votel. It copies what is in your snapshots (funnels, pipelines, custom fields, agents and the other items it supports). Then recreate each snapshot in Votel: go to Library, then Snapshots, select those items and name the snapshot. If you need help moving, contact our support team through the Live Support button.
