Is Votel HIPAA compliant or SOC 2 certified, and where is my data hosted?

Votel offers a HIPAA add-on for businesses that handle protected health information, such as healthcare clients. The add-on is $497 a month, and along with buying it you sign a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with us. If a healthcare client asks you for a BAA, you need the HIPAA add-on and a signed BAA.

The add-on goes on your main account and covers all of your sub-accounts. Once it is on, it cannot be removed (GoHighLevel works the same way). The HIPAA add-on is shown with the plans under Settings, then Billing.

HIPAA compliance has many parts. Votel covers the part that relates to the data stored in the platform. Votel is not a HIPAA training company: training your team to be knowledgeable and compliant is a separate part that your business handles.

Votel does not have SOC 2 and is not currently pursuing it.
