My buy button is not connected to Stripe. How do customers pay for my product or plan?

Entering your Stripe API keys only connects your account. To sell, you need a form with the product on it.

1. Create a form, add the payment (purchase) element and select your product.
2. Share the form's direct link with buyers, or drop the form onto your website. You do not need an order form on your site; the direct link works on its own.
3. Test it first in Stripe test mode with Stripe's test card number.
4. Once it works and you are happy, put in your live Stripe key.

If Stripe is already connected and working in Votel, you do not need to test Stripe itself. Test your form, the product you set up and any workflow connected to it, including what happens in the sub-account, to make sure everything works together.

If you want everyone to do a demo before buying, you can skip the order form: the customer goes into their account and adds their card on file. Both ways use the Stripe integration.
