What are the 47 Marketing Skills, and how do I get them and use them to build a higher converting website?
The 47 Marketing Skills are an add-on pack for the AI assistant that gives it 47 marketing skills. They include copywriting (marketing copy), conversion rate optimization (CRO), SEO, competitive analysis, customer research, content strategy, ad creative and ad design, lead magnets, designing offers, email writing and email design, B2B cold emails and follow-up sequences, App Store optimization (ASO), and best practices for writing social media content. With them the AI can write strong marketing copy, make batches of ads and social media content, research your industry and optimize your pages for conversions, without you needing to be a copywriter.
The add-on is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Once it is added, the skills appear in the AI assistant under Assistant settings, then the Skills tab. The humanizer skill is separate: it is built in and free for everyone.
The 47 Marketing Skills are added to an account by the Votel team. To get them, contact support, or if you are in the 5 Day Challenge, ask the Votel team member in the session chat. To check whether you have the pack, open Assistant settings in the AI assistant and look at the Skills tab. If the marketing skills are not there, contact support.
Look through the skills and note the ones that benefit you. Most people end up relying on a handful of them. The most commonly useful are conversion rate optimization and copywriting, the lead magnet skill when you build a lead magnet, and the SEO skill.
To use a skill, tell the AI assistant to use it by name. If you do not name a skill, the AI may or may not use it. Say who you are building for and name the skills and why. For example: "We are building a website for a marketing agency targeting HVAC business owners. Use the conversion rate optimization skill to design the highest converting landing page, and use the copywriting skill to write the best call to action in the hero section." Add the offer, how you deliver it (for example 24/7 AI answering and database reactivation), that you want a strong call to action in the hero, a short concise page with less text, relevant images and a color scheme. Speaking your prompt with dictation works well.
You can also point it at an existing site: optimize this website using the conversion rate optimization skill. The AI analyzes the site and makes the changes.
Another good use is research. Tell the assistant to research what people are saying or complaining about online. With the competitive analysis skill it finds what competitors in your space are doing wrong, gives you ideas for positioning, and shows what people need, what they do not like and what they want.
