What is the difference between my wallet balance and the AI credits included in my plan?

Billing has two separate pieces.

Your wallet is money you add to the account ahead of time, and it can be spent on any service. To add money, click Settings at the bottom left, then Billing, and use the wallet page, for example to add $500.

Included usage is the amount of a service that comes with your plan, if your plan includes one. For example, the $297 Founders plan includes $297 of AI assistant credits every month. Using included credits does not reduce your wallet, because they are already paid for. Once the included amount is used up, further use of that service is charged to your wallet.

Included AI assistant credits are only used for the AI assistant. Many other things draw dollars from the wallet, such as phone numbers, SMS, email, AI media credits (for example creating an AI image or video) and the AI assistant's computer use. So you can have $297 of included AI assistant credits and still have a $0 wallet balance, which is a problem if you want to buy a phone number or send an SMS. Keep money in the wallet if you use anything other than the AI assistant.

Auto recharge looks at the wallet dollar balance, not at your credits. If you set it to add a set amount when the balance falls below a set level (for example add $20 when below $5), it charges your card whenever the wallet drops below that level, even if you still have many AI credits.

To see both, go to Settings, then Billing, then the Usage tab. It shows your wallet balance and, for each service, the price per unit and the Included left column. To see where your wallet money went, open Activity, then Balance activity, and group by service.
