What is the difference between the domain I log in on and my website's domain?

There are two separate domains. One is the back end domain you log in on, for example app.votel.ai, or app.yourcompany.com with a white label setup. The other is the front end domain of the website you build and host in Votel, usually your main root domain.

If you already have a website somewhere else, you do not have to change it or connect it to Votel. Connecting the root domain is for people who build their website in Votel and want it hosted there. When you connect a website domain, use your real root domain (yourcompany.com), not the app subdomain you set up for the back end. If you want, you can later import your existing site into Votel and move the domain.
