What is the snapshot library and how do I install a snapshot from it?
The snapshot library is a set of ready-made, battle tested AI agent setups built around real use with real paying customers. It is the closest thing to done for you: a shortcut to something you can sell, instead of building it yourself. There are about 12 snapshots, for example an AI receptionist, after hours lead capture for residential services, appointment setting, restaurant ordering and reservations, prospecting, support, receptionists for pool removal, landscaping and basement and foundation companies, call routing based on who is calling, and a treatment compliance follow-up agent for personal injury law firms. The idea is to build once and sell many times.
You find it under Library, then Snapshots. The snapshot library is a paid add-on and is not part of the base plans. Until you have it, the snapshots show a Pro label and are locked with a Contact sales button. To get it, email support@votel.ai and the team adds it to your account using the card on your account.
The snapshots work with unlimited sub-accounts, so they are for all of your clients and not only for you. You receive updates to existing snapshots and any new snapshots added to the library, for life.
To install a snapshot:
- Go to Library, then Snapshots, and open the snapshot.
- Click Get this template. It then shows that you are all set (Installed).
- Go into your account to find what it created, such as the agent and its workflow, and open the agent to edit it.
The snapshots use global variables, so you enter details such as the business name and the workflow updates automatically.
You do not need the library to succeed. You can always ask the AI assistant to build any agent or system from scratch, and the AI assistant is the best way to build anything custom.
