What types of website widget are there for an AI agent, and what can I customize?

Go to Agents, then Web widgets, to create and set up a widget for an agent.

There are different widget types:

Chat widget with voice: the visitor types, and can click a voice button to switch to talking. Typing and voice are in one widget.

Voice only, such as the Orb: the visitor just talks to the agent. The orb changes color depending on who is talking.

The types are billed differently. Voice on the web widget is 5.8 cents a minute plus AI tokens, and the text version is one tenth of a cent per message plus AI tokens.

Settings you can change include where the widget sits (left, right or center), its width and height, full screen, padding, and the agent's icon. You can replace the default icon with your own avatar or character image, such as a mascot, shown in a small circle on the chat widget, so the agent has a face. The widget stays attached to the screen as the visitor scrolls, like an overlay.

To put the widget on an existing page, use the widget's embed code. The target container ID feature lets you attach the clickable widget button to another element on the page, so that element becomes what the visitor clicks to start the conversation.

The widget can hold full conversations, for example taking an order, confirming it and texting the visitor a link to pay.
