Applies to: Agencies using snapshots with sub-accounts

When I improve a snapshot, how do I push the update to the sub-accounts that already have it?

Snapshots and the items in them are version controlled, and Votel tracks which version each sub-account is on, so you do not need to log in to every client account and make the same change ten times.

  1. Edit the item itself in its own place in your agency account, for example open Agents and improve the agent. Because the snapshot is linked to the item, Votel detects the change.
  2. In the Library, open the snapshot and click Push updates. It shows the version number and which sub-accounts are on a previous version.
  3. Select the sub-accounts to update, several or all of them.
  4. Review the version difference, confirm, and apply. The selected sub-accounts receive the latest version.

This is a big reason to pick a niche: you keep one system for everyone in that niche, change it once in your own account and push it down, so what you learn from one client improves the system for all of them. If you run a local agency with clients in many niches, expect more client by client work.
