When is the 5 Day Challenge and how does each session run?
The 5 Day Challenge runs every week, Monday to Friday, at 3 PM Eastern. It uses the same meeting link at the same time every day, so save the link. The link is emailed to you when you register, and a reminder email with the link arrives a few hours before the live session starts.
Sessions are held on the Votel meeting platform, the meeting tool built into Votel that replaces Zoom. It is the same tool agencies get when they white label Votel. Once you join you should see the presenter's shared screen, the chat on the right and the participants. If you do not, refresh or reload the page.
Each session starts with about an hour of teaching and demonstration, and the first day includes a demo of the platform. After that the session opens up for questions and answers on any topic. To ask a question, use the raise hand icon in the meeting controls. Questions are taken one at a time, in the order the hands went up, and we stay until everyone's questions are answered, so this part can run two to three hours or longer.
You do not have to stay for the questions and answers: the main content for the day ends after the teaching hour. If you only want the questions and answers, join about an hour in, around 4 PM Eastern. The questions and answers are part of the recording, so you can watch them later.
A member of the Votel team is in the session chat on all five days to help with anything about your account. The pinned messages at the top of the chat (expand the yellow bar) hold the day's homework, the niche picker guide and the school community link. Save them before the meeting ends, because the pinned messages disappear when the meeting ends.
