Who founded Votel and why was it built?
Votel was founded by Mike Brown, a software developer and engineer rather than a guru or coach. He started his career at Experian, the credit bureau, building the white label platform Experian used in its business. Large clients such as American Express, ChoicePoint and USAA used it so they did not need any technical work or development and could focus on marketing and growing revenue. That is where Votel's focus on white label technology that is ready out of the box began.
After years as a software engineer connecting one system to another for hundreds of clients across many industries, the idea was a better way: one all-in-one system where everything is connected, so an agency does not have to get one system to talk to another or duct tape different tools together. When AI arrived, Votel was built as an AI first product rather than a bolt-on. It is the agency platform where AI does the work, built around AI agents, with the AI set up to do just about everything you can do in the system.
