Why does a new sub-account show a zero balance warning, and how do I prevent it?

A sub-account with no money in its wallet shows a big red banner at the top saying it has no funds. You do not want your clients to see that when they first log in.

To prevent it, add a small one time credit to your SaaS plan: open the plan, go to the Service and usage pricing tab and set the one time credit at the top. A dollar or two is enough, or whatever amount you think is right. Save the plan as a draft or publish it after changing the credit. The client then logs in with a credit and has a little to try (a phone number, some AI use, some emails) before usage billing starts.

For a demo or test account that you own, you can also set the sub-account's balance yourself from your parent account. Nothing is charged to anyone; it just adds credit to your own account. Do this even when you are the first person who will log in.
