Why does my account say I have no funds when I still have free AI credits?

Your free credits and your wallet balance are two separate things.

Free credits are for one particular service; free AI assistant credits cover only talking to the AI assistant. Your wallet balance is money, and it pays for everything else, such as AI images (starting at 7.5 cents each), text messages, phone numbers and code execution. Billing is by how much you use, not by time: once the free credits for a service are used up, that service is paid from your money balance.

So you can have 200 AI credits left and still have a zero wallet balance, because something else you used, even one generated image, spent the money. A zero balance does not mean your free credits are used up.

To see both, go to Settings, then Billing, then Usage. It shows the money balance in your account, and the Free column (included left) shows the free credits you have for each service.

Turn on auto recharge so a single image or message cannot lock your account.
