Applies to: Agencies that bill their sub-accounts, and their sub-accounts

Why is my sub-account's balance draining fast, and who sets what services cost it?

Agencies set their own prices. Each sub-account is billed at the prices the agency configured in its package, and the agency keeps the margin. Votel's own charges to the agency are separate and lower for several items: Votel does not charge for API calls and does not charge per contact.

If a sub-account balance drops quickly, open the account's usage breakdown and see which services are billing. Common lines are API calls, contacts, AI Image generation and connected social accounts. If the agency put a price on one of those services in its package, the sub-account is billed that price, even where Votel does not charge for it.

To change what sub-accounts are charged, go to the plan's Service usage and pricing, search for the service (API calls sit with the execution and platform services), and edit the price or switch the service off in the package. Typical setups do not charge sub-accounts for AI calls or API calls.
