General Settings

General Settings contains three features that improve data quality and engagement tracking across your platform: deduplication, lead scoring, and deliverability controls. Access these from Settings > General.

Deduplication​

Deduplication

Prevent duplicate contacts from cluttering your CRM. Deduplication automatically detects when a new contact matches an existing record and handles the conflict for you.

  • Uniqueness criteria --- choose what makes a contact unique: email address, phone number, name, or a combination.
  • Merge behavior --- decide what happens when a duplicate is found. The system can merge the records automatically, keeping the most recent data, or flag the duplicate for manual review.

Enable deduplication early to keep your contact database clean from the start.

Lead Scoring​

Lead Scoring

Lead scoring automatically ranks your contacts based on how engaged they are. The system tracks 17 engagement events --- such as email opens, link clicks, replies, and call completions --- and assigns a score to each contact.

  • Customize score weights --- increase or decrease the point value for each event type. For example, a phone call might be worth more than an email open.
  • Focus on hot leads --- sort and filter contacts by score to prioritize the most engaged prospects for your team or AI agents.

Scores update in real time as contacts interact with your messages and calls.

Deliverability​

Deliverability

Deliverability settings protect your sender reputation and ensure your messages reach their destination.

  • Email verification --- validate email addresses before sending to reduce bounces.
  • Disposable email blocking --- automatically reject signups from temporary or throwaway email services.
  • SMS mobile verification --- confirm that phone numbers are valid mobile numbers before sending SMS.
  • Bounce suppression --- automatically stop sending to addresses that have bounced, preventing further damage to your sender reputation.

Enable all four settings for the best deliverability results.
