10DLC Brand & Campaign Registration
10DLC (10-Digit Long Code) is a carrier-required registration system for US businesses that send SMS through local phone numbers. All major US carriers enforce 10DLC compliance. Without registration, your messages may be blocked, filtered, or throttled.
Registration is a two-part process: first register your Brand (your company identity), then register a Campaign (your messaging use case).
Brand Registration
Brand registration verifies your company's identity with the carrier ecosystem. Complete the following steps in Phone > 10DLC > Brand Registration.

Provide your legal business details:

Step 3: Supporting Documents

PDF format is preferred. Ensure documents are legible and match the company information provided.
Step 4: Review & Checkout
- Verify all details are accurate.

- Submit for review.
Campaign Registration
After your brand is approved, register a campaign to describe how you will use SMS. Complete the following steps in Phone > 10DLC > Campaign Registration.
Step 1: Business Information
Confirm or update your business details from the brand registration.
Step 2: Brand Information
Provide your public-facing brand details:
- Brand name (as customers know it)
- Brand description
- Customer support contact information
Step 3: Use Case
Define your messaging campaign:
- Campaign Type — Select the category that matches your use case: Marketing, Customer Care, 2FA/OTP, Account Notifications, Delivery Notifications, or other supported types.
- Message Flow — Describe how and when messages are sent (e.g., "Appointment reminders sent 24 hours before scheduled visits").
- Sample Messages — Provide 1 to 5 example messages. Each sample must include opt-out language such as "Reply STOP to unsubscribe."
- Opt-Out Instructions — Explain how recipients can stop receiving messages.
- Opt-In Proof — Provide links to where users consent to receive messages (e.g., a signup form or terms page).
Step 4: User Consent
- Describe how users opt in to receive SMS from your business.
- Link to your privacy policy.
- Link to your terms of service.
Step 5: Confirmation
- Review all campaign details.
- Agree to the carrier terms and conditions.
